Meet Our Executive Team

David Allen - General Manager/Owner

Dave and his wife Sandra decided in 1987 that they wanted to own a business. The opportunity came with Cliff’s Printing #7. Having a previous career with the United States Air Force as an airplane mechanic, this would be a brand new adventure for Dave. They spent the first 10 years learning the printing industry and the secrets of the trade while they developed their reputation in the commercial printing world. In 1997 Dave broke away from the Cliff’s Printing franchise and rebranded his company as Executive Press.

Looking for some help, Dave took on a partner in the business, Tom Sadler. Together, they were able to grow Executive Press tremendously over the course of the next 12 years. In September of 2009, another new partner was brought on board. Jennifer Beaty was named Executive VP of Business Development and a plan for new growth was developed.

Dave now serves as the General Manager of the corporation, and also oversees all of the scheduling and operations on the production side of the business. His areas of responsibility include prepress, plating, printing (both offset and digital), bindery, shipping/receiving, bulk mail, customer service, estimating, and bookkeeping.

Under Dave’s watchful eye, EP has grown leaps and bounds since he purchased Cliff’s Printing in 1987. He enjoys the daily challenges that he faces as a business owner and is constantly improving both customer and employee relations within the company.

When Dave is away from the office, he spends time on his woodworking projects and accompanying his son at cross country motorcycle competitions. If Dave can find an excuse to be outdoors, that’s where you’ll find him. He likes to spend his weekends camping with his family and friends, and spending time with his first grandchild, Cavendar.

Tom Sadler - President/Owner

In July of 1997, Tom stuck his head in the door of Executive Press to have a chat with his buddy Dave Allen. By the end of the conversation, the two had made the decision for him to become a partner in the business and together they would launch new growth for EP. With Tom’s 35 years of sales and marketing experience in the business community, 11 years in the real estate and homebuilding industries, and 10 years in the financial services industry, he had an idea of what it would take to make EP successful.

For the next 12 years he served as the President and part owner of Executive Press. His responsibilities encompassed financial matters, sales, and business development. In September of 2009, Tom and Dave made the decision to bring Jennifer Beaty into the picture and offered her an ownership position at EP. Jennifer has taken the sales and business development pieces from Tom in order for him to focus on the company’s finances, both present and future.

When Tom is away from the office, he enjoys time with his wife and family. He can be found at the golf course on any given weekend – if the weather can support it, Tom will be there.

Jennifer Beaty - VP Business Development/Owner

Jennifer landed into the printing industry after a career start in being a network administrator in the IT business didn’t take hold. She has been in the printing business now for almost 10 years, and became a part of the Executive Press team in February of 2006. After a series of promotions and position changes, Jennifer became Vice President and business partner at Executive Press in September of 2009. Her main focus now is to be the visible owner of the company, to develop new business and make and manage relationships.

Outside of the workplace, Jennifer enjoys contributing to various charities with her family and supporting her children in their school and sporting activities.

Jennifer is a proud board member of 1st Tuesday Connections and a sponsor of BYO Musicians Network. EP holds active memberships at North Dallas Chamber of Commerce, Garland Chamber of Commerce and Richardson Chamber of Commerce.
